Every BBQ Needs Fuel, Right???
So, you are either a gas (not for us) or charcoal person then?
Ok, we have never used, or intend using a gas fired BBQ. To us (and here comes the slating) if you are going to use gas, then get in the kitchen and use the oven or hob.
(ok, we understand that they are convenient and cleaner, but we prefer the real smokey flavour you get from real fire)
Well then, lets assume you are using a charcoal BBQ, you will be using charcoal then? But Which type and how?
For a lot of people using the indirect method of cooking, there are several fuel options to be considered, lumpwood, briquettes and even just using chunks of wood for flavour. You can even mix these too.
Once we have used different types of fuel, we hope to go through them here, as a lot of you are probably unaware of the different varieties of each (charcoal briquettes made of coconut shell for instance.)
We will let you know on the home page if/when we do start to rate and describe there to you.
